Every Sunday Afternoon - "Pipeline," BBC Radio Scotland's show on piping  broadcast on the Internet (starting on December 30, 2000) at 17:05-18:00 p.m. GMT at BBC Radio Scotland (that's 12 noon or 1 pm for western Michigan area).  We're told there will be no archives, so tune in or miss it.  (A bit of advice - you'll need to set up RealPlayer well before you want to listen so you can relax and enjoy the show.  You can read how to set it all up per the BBC here and then download RealPlayer 8 Basic here.)

May - For the fifth time in as many years, the Kalamazoo Pipe Band was asked to join in the ceremony marking Memorial Day on the floor of the Michigan State Senate in Lansing. A "Special Tribute" was made to the band.
June - The KPB was incorporated.

7 March - Provided a welcome for the first cadets entering WMU's aviation program by playing at the first ever landing of the Concorde at Battle Creek Airport
22 March - Joint meeting of the Kalamazoo Caledonians with the Sons of Norway -- music and dance were provided.
18 April - The Appin Regiment (re-enactment group) presented a demonstration at J. Rawlins.
The KPB participated with a brief highland dance and piping demonstration.
19 April - The KPB presented a full concert including massed band tunes, solo and small group bagpiping, highland dance, and much more at Coldwater High School as part of the International Fest.
22 May - For the fourth year in a row, the Senate in Lansing has invited the Kalamazoo Pipe Band to provide the music and ceremony for their Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. Due to personell limitations, the gig was passed to the Glendaloch Pipe Band
26 May - The KPB travelled to Spring Arbor Twnship (Near Jackson) to celebrate Memorial Day with a parade and a show afterwards.
18 July - The Bronson Polish Festival invited the KPB to participate again this year.
19 &26 July -
Silver Leafe Renaissance Faire - Roving pipers/drummers on both days of both weekends and full band on one day each weekend. Highland Dancing, too!
1 August - The KPB is planning to participate in the pipe band competition.Detroit St. Andrew's Highland GamesThe oldest continuous games in North America in Livonia.
